New player to the game and might be writing this comment a little early but so far looks like you don't have to follow every route if you don't want to which I appreciate. I really don't like Roxy but love the other characters and game so far, glad I can actually pick what I wanna do, unlike a surprising amount of other games out there
Followed other paths for a while and im enjoying the game, havent progressed her story passed the one mission to unlock the plant girl. Just hard for me to like a girl that assisted in bullying the MC for 3 years and had no trust in him to help before and never did anything or said anything in all that time until she literally got pulled with magic where she instantly is buddy buddy and wants to stop the big bad. Maybe i need to give her more of a chance which I'll do, but following Alex, the brother and Monroes paths has been fun so far
Yeah honestly, Roxy is not my strongest character opening. If I were to ever remake the game, a lot of the earlier character building would be more spread out and sensible. (Because lets be real, some of it doesn't make a whole lot of sense), but I'm still working to improve, trying to make the new content as good as can be.
She's Emma's room mate, you can click the locked character icons to see how to unlock them, first you have to unlock Emma by doing Kit's first event and then go to the new dimension that unlocks. Then you do some Emma events until Rin sort of just... unlocks.
Idk why but when i install the new update and i load the bedroom ui (where you pick stuff to do for the day) there is not text on the ui i fixed it by randomly picking one of the buttons then going back so this is really just for anyone who has the same issue (i think it's because my save was set on the bedroom ui)
There's a button that skips all the content, unlocking everything in the gallery, but if you mean like money cheats, there's not anything but there's a bunch of ways to get money easily and upgrades to get more
On Windows, version 0.17 never loads. Its stuck on the screen after the Unity logo and the Hourglass, its a blank gray screen. I've tried waiting but it never seems to start.
Tried 0.18, same issue. I'm starting to think its my PC but it runs everything else I've tried fine, am I starting it wrong possibly? Or its probably really just my PC.
Amazing game, but there seems to be a problem with the scene quality on mobile. The quality was set to low but even when I set it to high and restarted my game it still stayed the same.
Yeah unfortunately the quality settings dont work on android because I have to force everything to low bitrates to prevent crashing. It's not the most elegant solution but i'm still learning the engine
I really like this game and i havent been able to play the previous update since it wouldn't load on mobile. Is there a way to fix it? If there isn't, I don't have a way to emulate it so I just won't be able to play. My pcs are both family pcs and the laptop I have to myself is a crappy old think book or whatever they're called thats still on windows 8 that wouldn't be able to run this even if I tried.
And specifically when i say it wont load i mean it gets stuck on the hourglass screen forever. I cant pull my save out of the data folder easily anymore because i got a new phone thats past the versions where its easy to access android/data. Because of this i cant just clear all my data after taking my latest saves and try to delete and reinstall the app.
I'm not sure how to fix this bug, some people just randomly run into this issue, all I can reccomend is waiting until the next version unfortunately. Clearly some phones are having issues loading the video used for the title screen, but I'm not sure how to remedy that without ruining the title screen for the 99% of players that it does work for.
Like full crashes or freezes where the game doesn't progress when you go to sleep? the sleep freeze is a bug I'm aware of and trying to fix (It's very hard to test for)
i had the issues u are talking about but as lons as i was ''going to sleep'' slowly with no skip on or etc it was okay the crashing im talking about its like while idk during a dialoge but mostly during nsfw scenes the ig crashing buffering windows come out, the game start working again in a couple seconds, then freeze and close it self it's really strange because i dont get the problem with other games and neither with previous versions of the game tried to delete and reinstall the game couple of times, cleaning cache and temps folders, updated drivers and all but nothing
I assume this is your first game, and I have to say you've done a good job so far. You've got plenty of potential to create even better VN's later down the line.
As I write this response, I haven't finished, but will soon... I have a suggestion, well more like a demand cause it's needed... Add more save slots (Infinite if possible), i've ran out already w/out finishing the VN yet.
That's honestly the only complaint I have for this game. Anyways, thanks for creating this VN, hope you continue to update, and create more <3.
Thank you for the kind words, honestly I'm impressed you've managed to use 50 save slots and still need more haha. You should probably start to overwrite the oldest saves you have to continue infinitely, there's no missable content in the game so you don't need to worry about anything like that. It's not one of those 'choose a route' kind of VNs
I will, and have been re-using old saves... I used up 50 mainly because I like everything organized, for EX: Every event, I save... Every-time I take a break, I put a save. Just a tiny bit addicted to saving apparently. Honestly forgot there was a gallery, and since there's no routes like you said, I shouldn't worry about saving like other VN's.

Im used to games crashing and losing progress due to crappy autosave so i save constantly. Most visual novels use renpy and therefore have infinite save slots so its usually not an issue but this game uses unity(which also prevents me from emulating it on my phone)
I cant take this game seriously at tune because of the dialouges. I do have a gripe which happend to me twice, after a session i saved but for some reason when i tried to load it the next time eveeything corrupted and sent me back to the previous load file, like i could skip dialouge but i dunno what happend.

You're saying that the game doesn't show up in your itchio feed? or do you get actual notifcations on your account when other people update their games?
Both actually. I checked my feed again, and i can not find notifications for last 2 updates (I followed you right before 0.16 i believe). Additionally i usually get mail notifications about updates. I didnt get any about this game (i believe, Im too lazy to check them all)

Yeah that freezing problem is a bug that has plagued me for months, I'm still working on fixing it. If you've slept beforehand you can load autosaves to prevent losing too much progress

I make sure to tag them as "major update" when the public release comes out, so I'm not sure what else I'm missing. I'm not 100% sure how the feed system works on here lol

after the emma meeting event its just a grey screen with the ui still up, cant get past it at all, tried reloading and relaunching the game, on windows
I think it might be a problem of the game processing commands too fast due to a change in the recent update, I've fixed the issue with the emma event for the next update, sorry for the issue.
Hmm, saves wouldnt load so I made a new one via content skip, game then got stuck when I went to sleep and after reopening it won't even load the main menu anymore

Yeah there's bound to be save file weirdness due to the engine upgrade

Bruh the new version for android just won't load. I tried uninstalling then installing the game but it still won't load when i open the game.
Seem's your device is having some troubles with Unity's video player, the update has worked for others though so that's weird.

i think by making nate a full character it reset previous progress with him, because for me its just replaying his events
Yeah because he's a main character now, the way character event progress works is completely different, so you can't keep your progress.
